1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using CableWake.org (the “Site”), or by purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. About CableWake.org
CableWake.org is a global membership community for cable wakesports. It is designed to connect riders, parks, clubs, organizers, and supporters, and to provide a neutral space for discussion and community-led evolution of the sport.
3. Membership
CableWake.org offers paid membership tiers (for example Rider Member, Park/Club Member, Supporting Partner). Benefits may include: member badges, voting rights, participation in workshops, and optional public listing.
- Membership benefits may vary by tier and may change over time.
- Membership is personal or organizational depending on the tier purchased.
- Membership does not grant authority over the sport, federations, or rule systems.
4. Payments, renewals, and refunds
Membership fees are billed in advance for the stated period (typically yearly). You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.
- Renewals: Membership may be renewed manually or automatically depending on the payment setup used.
- Refunds: Unless required by applicable law, membership fees are generally non-refundable once benefits are issued or membership is activated.
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend associated membership benefits while the dispute is reviewed.
For refund questions, contact office@cablewake.org.
5. Member badges and brand use
Active members may receive digital badges (e.g., “Member 2026”) for use on websites, email signatures, and promotional materials. Badge use is subject to these rules:
- Badges may only be used while membership is active and valid for the displayed year.
- You may not alter the badge in a way that misrepresents membership tier or status.
- You may not use the badge to imply official sanctioning, certification, federation authority, or endorsement beyond membership.
- We may request removal of a badge if membership expires or if misuse is identified.
6. Community conduct
CableWake.org exists to support open collaboration. You agree to use the Site and community spaces respectfully and lawfully.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive behavior.
- No fraud, impersonation, or misleading claims about identity or authority.
- No spam, scraping, or attempts to disrupt the Site.
We may remove content or suspend access if conduct violates these Terms.
7. User content and submissions
If you submit content (e.g., comments, proposals, workshop ideas), you represent that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe third-party rights. You grant CableWake.org a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use your submission for operating and improving the community (for example summarizing ideas, publishing member proposals with attribution, or organizing workshop outcomes).
You can request removal of specific submissions by contacting office@cablewake.org, subject to operational and legal constraints.
8. Voting and workshops
Membership may include voting rights and participation in organized brainstorming sessions and workshops. These processes are designed to gather community input and build consensus.
- Voting mechanisms, eligibility, and schedules may vary by tier and topic.
- Workshop outcomes are recommendations and community signals, not official rule enforcement.
- We aim for transparency in reporting outcomes and decisions that affect the community platform.
9. Third-party links and services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Site will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or membership benefits if you violate these Terms, misuse badges, engage in abuse, or for security reasons. You may cancel your membership at any time, but refunds are handled per Section 4 and applicable law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
