Terms of Use

The rules for using cablewake.lovable.app and joining the CableWake community during its founding phase.

Version 1.0Updated 30 October 2026Operated by Champ House Pte. Ltd.

1Who we are

CableWake.org (“CableWake”, “we”) is a non-governing global community for cable wakesports. It is not yet registered as an independent legal entity. Until it is, the website and membership program are operated by Champ House Pte. Ltd., Singapore (“Champ House”), which provides legal, technical and payment infrastructure.

Once enough members join to elect an Executive Committee (ExCo), CableWake will be established as an independent NGO, as described in the Constitution. These Terms will then be updated and transferred to that organisation.

2Accepting these terms

By using this website, joining as a member, submitting an initiative or requesting a backing letter, you agree to these Terms, the Constitution and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3Membership

  • All three tiers (Rider, Park / Club and Supporting Partner) are free of charge during the founding phase.
  • No membership fee will be charged before CableWake is an independent NGO, and any future fee requires a member vote. You will be told in advance and can choose not to renew.
  • Membership gives you a voice and a vote on community topics. It gives no authority over the sport, any federation, park or rider.
  • Riders under 16 need permission from a parent or guardian to join.
  • Park / Club and Partner applications are verified by email. We may decline or end a membership that breaks the Code of Conduct (Constitution §13 and §15).

4Initiatives & backing letters

  • When you submit an initiative, you confirm you are entitled to share it and that the information is accurate.
  • You allow CableWake to show the initiative's title, place, summary and backing count on the website and in community reports.
  • A backing letter states the size and spread of the community that supports an initiative. It is not a guarantee of funding, an endorsement of a specific outcome, or a legal or financial commitment by CableWake or Champ House.
  • We may decline initiatives that conflict with the Constitution's neutrality or community-first principles.

5Acceptable use

When using CableWake you agree not to:

  • Harass, discriminate against or intimidate anyone.
  • Impersonate a person, park, club or organisation, or inflate backing with fake accounts.
  • Share other people's personal details, especially minors', without consent.
  • Present CableWake as a governing body or use its name to claim authority it does not have.
  • Interfere with the website's operation or security.

6Names, logos & content

The CableWake name, logo and badges may be used by active members to show their membership. Park, club and partner logos remain the property of their owners and are shown with permission. Third-party services we link to, such as the Wake House registration page, have their own terms.

7No warranty & liability

The website is provided “as is”. We work to keep information accurate but do not guarantee it is complete or current. Cable wakesports carry risk; nothing on this site is safety, legal or financial advice. To the extent permitted by law, CableWake and Champ House are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site.

8Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms, for example when the independent NGO is established. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. During the founding phase these Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, where Champ House is registered.
